This is a rich and crunchy artisan cookie from Cusco. Cusipata was founded in 1921, in the District of Cusipata, Province of Quispicanchis located in Cusco at 3400 masl. The name refers to the town it belongs to, "Cusi" means "happy" or "happiness" and "Pata" means "place" or "space" and together it could be translated as "Place or space of joy."
