It has its origin in barley water, a very popular drink in Europe that arrived in Peru in the 17th century. How to prepare it?
- Pour 4 l of water into a pot and add all the content of the package.
- Boil over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Strain and let it cool.
- Add sugar, panela, or stevia to taste.
